Lunation Calendar - FAQ
Lunation Calendar FAQ
Practical questions about the calendar, the first edition, and how to follow along.
Is it available yet?
Not yet. The first Amsterdam edition is currently in development.
Is this a wall calendar?
It is a physical printed calendar, but not a standard grid calendar. It is a set of circular charts organized around the Moon’s cycles.
Is this a planner?
No. It can support planning and reflection, but it is not designed as a conventional planner with boxes for appointments or tasks.
Do I need to know astrology?
No. The calendar can support astrological or symbolic use, but it is also useful as a way to observe lunar phases, seasons, sky paths, and recurring celestial cycles.
Why Amsterdam?
The first edition is specific to Amsterdam because many sky relationships are local. Moonrise, elevation, and the visible character of the sky depend on place.
Is it useful outside Amsterdam?
The lunar phase cycle and many symbolic readings still apply elsewhere, but local sky details are designed for Amsterdam. Future editions may be developed for other locations.
What is included?
The planned first edition includes 14 lunation charts, 1 year chart, and a reading guide. Details may continue to evolve during development.
Where can I buy it?
